1992 Wild Card Field Force Gold 20 Stripe # 21

This is a 1992 Wild Card Field Force Gold 20 Stripe card of Herschel Walker.   These Wild Card striped versions are very tough to find, especially in the Field Force or Running Wild subsets.

What differentiates the Gold version from the regular is the gold flecking in the left hand border.  Sometimes it's tough to see in a scan, but with the card in hand, it's easier to see.

The "20" is shown in the diagonal black band on the lower left of the card front.  Again, it is kind of tough to see in the scan.

I'm extremely happy to add this card to the Herschel Hoard.

2013 Upper Deck Ultimate Collection- Ultimate Triple Patch #UJ3-JCW Bo Jackson/Earl Campbell/Herschel Walker

It's been awhile since I posted at the Herschel Hoard.   Truthfully, I haven't seen anything come up for sale that I didn't already have.

Don't get me wrong.  There are many cards of Herschel that I'm still looking for.   But someone has to want to part with them before I can add them to the Hoard.

In any case, I did come across this variation of the 2013 Upper Deck Ultimate Collection Triple Patch set.

This is the set that features Herschel along with two other Heisman winners.  A player worn swatch is included from each.

In this version, Walker is shown with Earl Campbell and Bo Jackson.   In some of the other versions, he is shown with Barry Sanders or Billy Sims.

This one is serial numbered 18 out of 25.

2019 Leaf Ultimate Sports Ultimate Memorabilia 8 Silver #U8-12

This is the silver parallel in the 2019 Leaf Ultimate Memorabilia 8 set, for card #U8-12.

That particular card features Herschel Walker, along with seven other Dallas Cowboy greats. Emmitt Smith, Drew Pearson, Bob Lilly, Tony Dorsett, Bob Hayes, Troy Aikman and Michael Irvin.

The silver version is serial numbered to just 2, with this being #1.

The base version, which is #'d to 25, along with the purple(#'d to 12, are already in the Hoard.  There is also a platinum (#'d to 5), a red(#'d to 3) and a gold version(#'d to 1).

This baby is serial numbered to just 3, and this is example #3.

Herschel Hoard Seek of the Week

1996 Pacific  Red  and  Silver  parallels  #298

I have the base card, and not too long ago picked up the blue, but so far, the red and silver parallels have eluded me.     The back of the card is the same for all cards.

Herschel Hoard Seek of the Week

2019 Leaf In the Game Used -Franchise Favorites 6 Relics Purple # FRF 15

This is another new entry from Leaf, which I'm on the lookout for to add to the Hoard.  This card features 6 Dallas legends:  Emmitt Smith, Troy Aikman, Bob Lilly, Michael Irvin, Bob Hayes and Herschel Walker.

This is the Purple version, shown here and serial numbered to 20.  The serial # is hard to see on this image, but it is in the lower middle, between the names of Hayes and Walker.

There are at least 6 versions of this card in addition to purple.  Gold, silver, magenta, platinum blue, red and a base relics card.

2012 Upper Deck Exquisite - Legacy Bookmark Jersey Autographs #ELBM6 Bo Jackson/Herschel Walker

This is a high end card from the 2012 Upper Deck Exquisite Legacy Bookmark line.  The card, or cards really, has four sides and opens up like a little book.

Above is what you'd see as the front cover if it was closed.  As can be seen, it features both Bo Jackson and Herschel on the cover.  You can also see that it's serial numbered to just 10, with this example being #2.

When the card is opened up, both players autographs and jersey swatches are revealed:

Finally, on the back cover, we have this:

I was always a big fan of Bo as well as Herschel, so I am pleased to be able to add this fancy card of two Heisman winners to the Herschel Hoard.
